Under the shadow of the Niagara Escarpment, artists from across Ontario will showcase and sell their original works at the annual Art-in-the-Park event.
Set for Sunday (Aug. 13) at Country Heritage Park, the show will feature award-winning and emerging artists, including Milton’s Andrea Howson, Rebecca McLaren, and Jane Morassutti. In all, 21 artists were selected to participate in the show. Their work includes oil, acrylic, and watercolour paintings, glass, jewelry, pottery, photography, and mixed media.
New this year is live musical entertainment by singer/songwriter Sonia Collymore-Dawes, a Juno Award winner who will jazz up the show and sale with her sultry sounds.
Shoppers who work up an appetite can enjoy the culinary delights presented from local food trucks, vendors, and caterers.
Tours of Country Heritage Park will also be offered during Art-in-the-Park, providing guests an opportunity to see the more than 30 heritage buildings, community and pollinator gardens, and farm animals.
Admission to Sunday’s show costs $5. Parking is free.
The show runs from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the Gambrel Barn and Puslinch Hall. Country Heritage Park is located at 8560 Tremaine Rd.
