It could be Brisbane's
biggest treasure hunt.
The city is set to sparkle during the Brisbane Festival.
Organisers have teamed up with Wallace Bishop to create the
city’s biggest treasure hunt with $120,000 worth of diamonds and cubic zirconia
rings up for grabs.
Between September 9 and 30, the Wallace Bishop Treasure Hunt
will see 100 ring boxes hidden throughout the city.
"They might be placed in bits, you know, where it makes you
discover something of the city as well and of the festival,” festival artistic
director Davod Berthold said.
“There's kind of two discoveries going on there."
Each ring box contains a ring, valued at $200 along with a lucky
ticket to redeem a diamond valued at $1000.
